Our Key Components of Ground Handling Services :

  1. Aircraft Ramp Services: This includes marshalling, parking, and positioning of aircraft on the ramp or apron area, as well as installing ground support equipment (GSE) such as chocks and ground power units.
  2. Baggage Handling: Ground handlers are responsible for the loading and unloading baggage, cargo, and mail onto and off the aircraft. This involves coordination with baggage sorting facilities, luggage carts, and conveyor systems.
  3. Passenger Services: Ground handling personnel assist passengers with check-in, boarding, and disembarkation procedures. They may also provide wheelchair assistance, manage gate assignments, and handle lost or damaged luggage.
  4. Fueling Services: Ground handlers oversee aircraft refuelling, ensuring that the correct type and quantity of fuel are delivered safely and efficiently. They also perform fuel quality checks and manage fueling equipment.
  5. Aircraft Maintenance: Ground handling services may include basic maintenance tasks such as aircraft cleaning, lavatory servicing, and routine inspections to ensure the aircraft’s airworthiness and cleanliness.
  6. Catering Services: Ground handlers coordinate the loading and unloading catering supplies, including meals, beverages, and other onboard amenities. This involves liaising with catering companies to ensure timely delivery and compliance with airline specifications.
  7. De-icing and Anti-Icing: In cold weather conditions, ground handling services may include de-icing and anti-icing procedures to remove frost, ice, or snow from the aircraft’s surfaces to maintain safe operating conditions.

Many airlines has subcontract ground handling to SERVICOS TRANSPORTES AEREOS TIMOR (STAT). STAT is always in effort to be an effective “pit stop”. Airlines requires speed, efficiency and accuracy which are important in ground handling service in order to minimize the turnaround time (during the aircraft must remain parked).
